Tips To
Tame Closet Chaos
-
Go through
your
closet and consider getting rid of things you haven't used in a
while.
Ask yourself
"Will I
ever
wear this skirt or these pants again?" Don't pay us or anyone to store
things things you
aren't
going
to keep!
-
Organize your
things into 2 categories (1) Things you use often, or (2) Things you
need
access to.
-
Keep those
items
you use most often at eye level
-
Consider a
Ceder
closet in some location of your house for off-season clothes
storage
.
-
Count the
number
of shoes, shirts, sweaters and long hanging pants or dresses that
your
closet
should
be
designed around these needs.
-
Include
spaces
for hand bages, belts, ties, jewelry, and laundry. Make a
place for
easier keeping
things
organized.
-
Include
shelving
and clothes bars that are adjustable. This way your closet can
change.
-
If you have
a walk-in
closet consider integrating a Drop-Down Ironing Board. This will
allow
you
to
quickly
press out any unexpected wrinkles as you plan your daily
wardrobe.
-
Use all
available
space in your closet. This includes overhead and tight
spaces.
